Every holiday detail, out of your head and in capable hands.
Holiday Assistant
A calm, AI-powered assistant for everything you carry from Thanksgiving to New Year’s. Snap the school flyer, a wish list or a recipe card, and it’s read and organized for you, so the gatherings, meals, gifts and cards live somewhere other than your head.
$15 for the whole season
One payment for the season. Shared with your partner. Nothing to install.
Our gift to you with purchase: $15 off your first year of Capture, our everyday assistant, when it launches for the new year.
Why it exists
The holidays aren’t one task. They’re hundreds of small things — the dish a cousin offered to bring, the class party, the day the turkey has to be ordered by, the teacher gifts — and most of them fall to one person to remember.
Whenever something else shows up, hand it off in whatever form it arrives. Holiday Assistant holds everything for you, surfacing it only when you need it, helping with gifts, tags, cards and meals — so there’s more room to enjoy the season.
How it works
Not another system to set up and keep up.
There’s nothing to build first and nothing to maintain. Your assistant does the reading, sorting and remembering for you, so all that’s left is a quick look.
-

Snap a photo
The Spirit Week schedule, a school flyer, a recipe card, a wish list, a letter to Santa, the envelope from a card you received.
-

It’s sorted for you
Your assistant reads it with AI and puts it where it belongs: dates on the family calendar, recipes in your recipe box, gifts on each person’s list, addresses on your card list.

You enjoy the season
Guests claim dishes from a link, the day-of timeline works back from dinner, and your gift tags and labels are ready to print.
Stuck on someone hard to shop for? Answer a few quick questions, and your assistant suggests gift ideas to keep or skip.
What calendars don’t do
The right reminder, at the right time.
A calendar only knows dates. Your assistant looks across the whole plan, from the meal to the gifts to the school week, and brings up what needs doing next, so nothing waits on you to remember it.
It’s all waiting on the home screen when you open the app.

What it helps with
The dates, the gatherings and the gifts, kept in one place.
Calendar & to-dos
Every concert, party, trip and to-do in one place, color-coded by person. See a list of what’s coming up today, this week and further ahead, or flip to the calendar view.
- Upload screenshots or photos of invitations, event flyers, or bookings and they will be organized for you onto your calendar and reminders.
- Do the same for the Spirit Week schedule to get reminders for Pajama Day, Crazy Hair Day, Wear Red, with what to wear or bring, color coded by kid for each day.
- Add the household to-dos and deadlines too. Each gets a checkbox, and anything unfinished stays at the top until it’s done.
- Gatherings, make-ahead days and order-by dates from your meal plans show up on their own.
Meals & gatherings
Plan the meal whether you’re cooking, guests are bringing dishes, it’s catered, or it’s a mix.
- One grocery and supply list for the whole gathering.
- A day-of timeline that works back from when you’re serving, with make-ahead days marked.
- A guest sign-up link, so people can claim a dish without making an account.
- Note dietary restrictions once, and everyone signing up to bring a dish will see them.
- A recipe box — snap a recipe card, and AI types it up for you.
Gifts & budgets
Everyone on your list gets their own color. Add a gift by typing it, or by snapping a photo of it, a screenshot of a wish list or a letter to Santa.
- Stuck on someone hard to shop for? Answer a few quick questions, and AI suggests gift ideas. Keep the ones you like.
- Budgets for each person add up to the family’s, with what’s spent and what’s still planned side by side, so the card statement holds no surprises.
- Bought, then wrapped — one tap each. Mark someone done when you have enough, whether or not the budget is spent.
- Note where each gift is hidden, so nothing turns up in March.
- When gifts are bought, it offers a tag for each one, ready to print on standard Avery sheets, with Santa’s in their own design.
Cards & labels
Your holiday card list in one place, with every address ready when the cards arrive.
- Upload, screenshot or photograph a handwritten address list. Easily combine multiple lists in one central place. Receive a card from someone not on the list? Snap the envelope to add the sender’s address.
- Print address and return address labels on standard Avery sheets, in seasonal designs.
- Export your list, ready to upload to Minted or Shutterfly.

Questions
Questions, answered.
Is it another system to set up and keep up?
No. There’s nothing to build first and nothing to maintain. Start with what’s already in your hands: snap the school flyer, a recipe card or the envelope from a card, and AI reads it and files it where it belongs, ready for a quick look. Gatherings and order-by dates show up on the calendar on their own.
How does it use AI?
To read what you snap (flyers, recipe cards, wish lists, letters to Santa and envelopes) and sort it for you, and to suggest gift ideas when you ask. You can check and change anything it finds. Dietary restrictions are kept as counts, never names.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It works in the browser on the phone, tablet or laptop you already have. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.
Can my partner use it too?
Yes. One purchase covers your family. Send your partner an invite link from the app, and they’ll see the gifts (except for theirs), where they’re hidden, what’s wrapped and who’s bringing what, on their own phone.
What does $15 cover?
Everything in Holiday Assistant for the whole season, through the New Year. It’s a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
What if it’s not right for us?
Email care@methodsandmode.com within 14 days of buying, and we’ll refund you in full.
Do guests need an account to bring a dish?
No. Share a link, and they claim a dish and see the dietary restrictions to keep in mind.
Which label sheets does it print on?
Standard Avery sheets: 6522 address labels (2 × 4 inch) and 22892 return address labels (½ × 1¾ inch), both for laser or inkjet printers, plus 80512 round tags and 22802 hang tags, both with strings.
How do I get started?
Tap Get your Holiday Assistant, create your account and check out. Then add it to your home screen, and it opens like an app.
What’s the gift toward Capture?
Capture is our everyday family assistant, in private beta now ahead of its app store release. When it launches, Holiday Assistant families get $15 off their first year ($34 instead of the $49 founding rate).
